Archer beach
Located in the far east of Socotra Island. At this point, the land deepens into the sea with a long thin strip. At the base of the curved bizarre cape is the beach. Arher may seem like a certain salt cluster from the outside: there is so snow-white sand. On a map, taken from outer space, the beach even looks like white spot, that has not yet been explored and opened for the big world of tourism.

The length of the beach is about six kilometers. There is a road along it, which in some places is not particularly marked, but simply is a rut. The width of the beach in some places reaches almost a kilometer, but it is better not to go so far from the sea. The border of the beach is vertical dark brown cliffs. And this border is so noticeable, that sometimes even rocks or pieces of shingle are absent in the place of contact.
The sea near the coastline gets deeper slowly. A little farther from the coast there are clusters of corals and just rocks. In general, there are many places, where it is possible to swim only above the sandy bottom. Even at a distance of about fifty meters, the depth does not exceed the height of an adult.
When is it better to go?
To visit Yemen, the periods from April to May and from September to October are recommended, when neither heat, nor sandstorms, nor frost will bother you.
