Ponto do Ouro beach
Ponto do Ouro is a scuba diving center in Africa. It's home to exotic species of fish, predatory sharks, large stingrays the underwater life of which is interesting to watch while diving.

Beach description
Ponto do Ouro is a difficult to access not crowded beach, which is much easier to reach by your own or rented SUV. It's also possible to walk – a stroll from the nearest village will take at least 30 minutes.
The coast and the bottom are covered with golden sand with caramel hue. Lowering of the bottom is smooth, there are no rocks. Water is clean, warm, emerald, transparent. The resort is popular among young people who lead an active life. There are gusts of wind, sometimes long waves roll in. In summer, there are many snorkeling tourists. Under the water near the coast, there are coral reefs with unusual inhabitants, which attract travelers from all over the world.
When is it better to go
In Mozambique, the climate is peculiar: in the north it is close to equatorial (up to +28), in the south, trade winds, tropical (up to + 22). During the year, it is divided into two main seasons. The wet lasts from October to March - the period of cyclones and prolonged tropical downpours throughout the country. Dry – from April to September. Droughts are frequent. In winter, the water in the ocean warms up to +24, in the summer it keeps marks from +26 to +29 degrees.
