Vilanculos beach

The beach is sandy, of caramel colour with a golden hue, the water is warm, of emerald hue. The entry into the water is smooth, and the bottom is sandy and soft. Depth increases gradually, the conditions are suitable for rest with small tourists. Here are picturesque scenery and breathtaking views. The sandy beach and the emerald ocean border on lush green vegetation of rainforest, where many exotic birds, wild monkeys and other African animals live.

When is it better to go

In Mozambique, the climate is peculiar: in the north it is close to equatorial (up to +28), in the south, trade winds, tropical (up to + 22). During the year, it is divided into two main seasons. The wet lasts from October to March - the period of cyclones and prolonged tropical downpours throughout the country. Dry – from April to September. Droughts are frequent. In winter, the water in the ocean warms up to +24, in the summer it keeps marks from +26 to +29 degrees.
