Xai-Xai beach
Xai-Xai (or Shai-Shai) is a popular beach in the same-name city, geographically located north of the capital of Mozambique. It is difficult to get to the coastline, the route lies along a steep road, descending from the top of the hill.

On the coast and on the sides of the beach there are large boulders, that protect the coastline from the wind - it is quiet, calm day and night all year. High waves are absent for the same reason. The place is popular with vacationers with babies. This is a resort for family rest or for a romantic trip. In a calm clean lagoon it is pleasant to swim. A motor boat is rented on the beach to view the beach from the water. There are many restaurants, cafes on the coastline, where a variety of delicious dishes of fresh fish and seafood is provided for the tourist.
When is it better to go
To enter, Russian citizens need a visa, which can be obtained at the Mozambique Embassy in Moscow or upon arrival at the airport. In case of obtaining a visa on the spot, it is necessary to have a passport, a completed visa application form, as well as a photograph. Registration of a visa at the embassy implies a wider list of documents. Obtaining an official invitation to the country will greatly facilitate the entry for tourists. A double entry visa with a monthly validity period is issued.
