Anse Boileau beach
Anse Boileau is a beach in the long curved bay of the central part of the southwest coast of Mahe. Behind a strip of lush coastal thickets at the foot of low mountains is a small town of the same name.

Beach description
The beach is 2km long and 15m wide, covered with fine golden sand. The descent into the water is gentle and long, the bottom is sandy. Water in the bay is calm. Here is quite shallow. There is no infrastructure on Anse Boileau. Snorkeling equipment, food and drinks should be taken with. This is the best place for picnics, family holiday with children and snorkeling. The beach is empty, tourists come quite rarely. The shore offers a view on local fishermen's boats.
There are several restaurants with excellent Creole cuisine close to the beach. There are hotels with well-organized beach areas. From the airport visitors can get to Anse Boileau by bus or rented car. Near the beach is car park and a bus stop.
When is it better to go
The Seychelles archipelago is located in the subequatorial climatic zone, which is characterized by stable sunny weather with little rainfall, without cyclones and sudden changes in daily and seasonal temperatures. The heat characteristic of the equator is tempered by the Indian Ocean. Air temperature ranges from + 27-33 °C.
- From December to April, the northeastern monsoons dominate the Seychelles. It is quite hot and humid, with heavy rains. Air temperature reaches a maximum. Water in the ocean warms up to + 30 °C.
- From June to October, the islands are in the grip of southeast monsoons. Humidity decreases significantly, the temperature is + 27-29 °C.
- The best time for swimming, diving, snorkeling is October and November, as well as the period from February to May.
- For surfing and sailing, it is advisable to set out from October to March.
