Petite Anse beach
Petite Anseis beach located in a small picturesque bay on the western coast of Mahe island. The resort is one of the most beautiful on the island and belongs to the territory of the hotel Four Seasons Resort Seychelles.

Beach description
The coastline is 200 meters long and 20 meters wide. On the coast lies fine white sand, the water in the ocean is crystal clear and azure. Tourists do sunbathing, windsurfing and surfing, snorkeling and scuba diving on the beach. The resort is not suitable for swimming- there is very strong current in the ocean, high waves rise, the wind blows. Along the perimeter of the beach there are high granite rocks, which offer scenic views of the bay, boulders and tropical vegetation.
Entrance to the beach is free for all hotel guests. Outsiders agree to visit the resort in advance with the resort management by phone. For vacationers there are umbrellas and sunbeds, bar and restaurant on the beach. Near the western entrance to the beach, locals sell fresh coconuts and juices.
When is it better to go
The Seychelles archipelago is located in the subequatorial climatic zone, which is characterized by stable sunny weather with little rainfall, without cyclones and sudden changes in daily and seasonal temperatures. The heat characteristic of the equator is tempered by the Indian Ocean. Air temperature ranges from + 27-33 °C.
- From December to April, the northeastern monsoons dominate the Seychelles. It is quite hot and humid, with heavy rains. Air temperature reaches a maximum. Water in the ocean warms up to + 30 °C.
- From June to October, the islands are in the grip of southeast monsoons. Humidity decreases significantly, the temperature is + 27-29 °C.
- The best time for swimming, diving, snorkeling is October and November, as well as the period from February to May.
- For surfing and sailing, it is advisable to set out from October to March.
