Aharen
Aharen Beach is the biggest beach on Tokashiki Island, located about 4,5 km to the south from the local harbor. You can get to the harbor by bus, rented car or taxi. Aharen is a tiny village, so finding the beach is no problem.

Tokashiku Beach is a calm place with shallow waters located in the western part of the island of the same name, about 40 km away from Naha in Okinawa prefecture. Tourists usually choose the more popular Aharen Beach on the other side of the island which makes Tokashiku a calm and uncrowded place. The coastline is about 800 m long, covered in white sand, with crystal clear light blue water. The beach is safe for people of all ages as there are no high waves or underwater currents in this part of the island. Tokashiku is a real gem on the shore of East China Sea.
Furuzamami Beach is located on the Zamami Island, on the shore of East China Sea. The water here is so clean that it was marked by Michelin Green Guide. You can get to the beach via a high-speed train from the neighboring port of Okinawa, it will take from 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Ama Beach is located in the southwest of Zamami Island, you can get to it from the Okinawa harbor via a speed boat which will take an hour. Ama is the only well-developed camping site on the shore of East China Sea, located just 20 minutes away from the village of the same name, often called "Youth Village". The closest cafes and restaurants are located 1,6 km away from the camping site, in the Zamami village.
Yuhina Beach is a small beach in the north of Zamami Island, in Asa village. This place is attractive because it's not as well-known as some others, it's mostly empty which makes it look uninhabited, perfectly fit for solitude with nature. The endless light blue sea merges with the sky on the horizon. A beautiful view of the sunset opens in the evening. It must be noted that it's very hot here during Summer, with flocks of mosquitos a frequent occasion in June.
Nishibama Beach is located in the east of Aka Island, on the shore of East China Sea. The crystal clear light blue water is perfect for snorkeling and diving. Schools of tropical fish, coral reefs and humpback whales live here.
Kushibaru Beach is a calm and little-known place located in the most western part of Aka Island. Locals often call this beach heavenly. You can get to Aka Island via a ferry from Naha or by a speed boat from the shores of Zamami Island.
