Daugavgriva beach
Daugavgriva beach is located in the same residential area on the outskirts of Riga, not far from the Primorsky Nature Reserve, where rare birds nest. A special path is laid in the reserve, viewing platforms are equipped.

Beach description
The spacious beach area with white and golden sand is divided into two areas. One is for active tourists, the other is for vacationers with children. However, vacationers have recently complained about water condition in the city boundaries. During these periods, authorities prohibit swimming on city beaches. Although it is possible to sunbathe and exercise at any time. Near the beach there is a small parking lot for 50 cars. The road from the parking lot is asphalted to make it convenient for mothers with prams to go down to the beach. It is also possible to get here by city bus number 3 and number 36.
