On the beach, there are barbecue areas, the largest children's playground, and places for sports games such as volleyball and football, as well as an area with outdoor fitness equipment. To ensure that vacationers do not injure themselves while swimming, the bottom has been cleared of rocks and shingle. Lifeguards, whose tower resembles an Indian bungalow on stilts, vigilantly watch over the bathers. Within this unique structure, there is even a branch of the local library, where, during the summer, it is possible to borrow a book for reading in the fresh air. Essentially, this place is ideal for an active rest.
There is a parking lot near the beach, which is currently small, but the authorities plan to expand it, as this location is becoming increasingly popular. Soon, the beach will be equipped for people with disabilities by installing wooden ramps. There will also be a small pier, where it will be possible to moor boats.

The best time to visit Latvia for a beach vacation is during the summer months, when the weather is warmest and the days are longest. Specifically, the period from June to August offers the most favorable conditions for beachgoers. Here's why:
