Beach description
The top of the cliff is equipped with observation deck, the part of the balcony is glazed for a better view. Mighty eucalyptus trees and waterfalls adorn this natural unique statue.
Another peculiarity of this beach is its isolation. People can get here only by sea or by cableway. Pebbles, lack of amenities and rescue services do not detract from the main advantages of Cabo Girao: crystal clear water and exclusive natural beauty.
When is it better to go
The beach season in Portugal lasts from the beginning of June until September, when the air temperature reaches +30°C and the water temperature - +19°C. It should be remembered that the Atlantic Ocean does not warm up well and cools quickly, lovers of a more comfortable temperature can swim in natural stone pools, which are quite numerous on the coast.
