The entire beachline of this resort is located in small bays, protected by breakwaters, so there are no strong waves and wind. Thanks to this feature, Eforie Sud is considered to be the most peaceful and save place for vacation. Besides, the beach is marked "EU Blue Flag", confirming its purity.

To get to the beach, you need to go down from the promenade on the stairs, but the entrance to the sea is gentle and smooth. The beach infrastructure of Eforie Sud is quite well developed. There is a rental of sunbeds and umbrellas, amusement rides and popular water activities such as catamarans, water skiing and boats.
Like most Romanian resorts, Eforie Sud offers therapeutic courses and recovery procedures, interesting tours to neighboring Constanta and other nearby cities. The resort can be reached by car or bus.
When is it better to go
The sea season on Romanian beaches opens at the end of spring and lasts at least 3.5-4 months, until the end of September. In May, as a rule, the sea is still quite cool – the average water temperature is + 17°C, air temperature – +20° C, sometimes it can rain. With the beginning of June, the water in the sea warms up and becomes pleasant for swimming.
High season on the Romanian beaches falls in July and August. It is sunny and warm at this time: air temperature – +30° C, water – +25° C, rains are rare – not more than 1-2 times a month. This period is ideal for families with children. Tourists who can not stand the heat, most of all will like a vacation on the beach in early September, when the sea is still warm, but the sun is not as hot as in the summer.
