Venus beach

Venus a speciou beach up to 200 m wide with clear golden sand, soft surf and gentle descent. There is a light sea breeze on the beach all the time. The proximity to the thermal lake with sulphur springs gives the sea in this area a specific smell of hydrogen sulphide. Being fully landscaped, Venus has everything you need for a pleasant beach experience - rental of sun loungers, changing cabins, and cafes. Banana and catamaran rides, water attractions, sports grounds, massage service, and swimming pools with mesothermal sulphur-containing water are available from entertainment in the beach area.

Vacation at this resort will be enjoyed by couples with children, as well as by elderly people who can combine beach vacation with thalassotherapy, mad treatment and other wellness programs offered by local hotels. The beach can be reached by bus, train or car from Constanta, where the nearest airport is located.

When is it better to go

The sea season on Romanian beaches opens at the end of spring and lasts at least 3.5-4 months, until the end of September. In May, as a rule, the sea is still quite cool – the average water temperature is + 17°C, air temperature – +20° C, sometimes it can rain. With the beginning of June, the water in the sea warms up and becomes pleasant for swimming.

High season on the Romanian beaches falls in July and August. It is sunny and warm at this time: air temperature – +30° C, water – +25° C, rains are rare – not more than 1-2 times a month. This period is ideal for families with children. Tourists who can not stand the heat, most of all will like a vacation on the beach in early September, when the sea is still warm, but the sun is not as hot as in the summer.
