Victoria beach

Victoria is one of the longest beaches in the city of Cadiz on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. This is the first Spanish beach to receive an environmental certificate, in addition to this, for 30 years it has been awarded the Blue Flag every year.

Beach description

Victoria Beach is about 3 km long and 200 m wide. It provides everything for the comfort of vacationers – toilets, sun loungers with umbrellas, showers, sports grounds, water slides for children. Almost always strong winds blow in this place, and high waves rise in the sea, which cannot but please fans of surfing. The sand is light golden; entry into the water is gentle and comfortable. Playa de la Victoria is a very popular place among tourists, so during the peak season it is not easy to find a free place.

From the city center to the beach can be reached by bus number 1 or number 7 (stop – Balneario). You can also come by car, there is parking near the beach area.

When is it better to go

The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.
