Carihuela beach
Carihuela is one of the best equipped beaches on the Costa del Sol. Located in the western part of the resort of Torremolinos, in the territory of the former fishing village. The resort has been awarded the Blue Flag Honorary Award.

Beach description
The coastline is 2.1 km long and 40 m wide. The coast is covered with dark fine sand, there are islands of greenery, palm trees grow. The bottom is flat, the entrance to the water is smooth, the depth is gaining gradually, the beach is shallow. The water is clean and calm, cool. Garbage is regularly cleaned on the beach, and the sand is sieved and leveled.
Infrastructure is developed as much as possible:
- public shower and toilet,
- parking,
- promenade,
- facilities for the disabled,
- children’s and sports sites,
- rescue towers,
- shops,
- beach cafes, restaurants and bars,
- rental of umbrellas, sun loungers at affordable prices.
When is it better to go
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.
