Beach description
Right on Kadriye beach there is a cozy park complex with restaurants, cafes, shops, playground and large parking. There are showers and toilets in the eastern part along the waterfront. Hotel guests are free to pass on Kadriye, all others must pay fee for visiting.
The sand on the beach is interspersed with pebbles, and the water entry is quite gentle for the first meters. In high season, Kadriye becomes crowded, due to families with children flooding the beach. Especially often you can meet Russian and German tourists here. At other times, mostly older people come here.
Water entertainment industry is almost undeveloped on Kadriye, but its territory is carefully monitored by rescue teams. Most part of the beach is owned by golf resorts, and these areas are inaccessible to the general public. And some 5-star hotels even fence off their sections on Kadriye with high fences.
When is it better to go
A comfortable time for a trip to the Turkish seaside resorts – is from July to September. The air temperature in this period rises to + 40 °C, the water warms up to + 30 °C. However, you need to be prepared for a huge influx of tourists.
