Tekirova beach
The Tekirova Beach is located on the coast of a famous resort village of the same name, 12 km away from Kemer in Antalya province. You can get here from Antalya by bus or rented car via a picturesque highway that goes between mountains and the sea.

Beach description
The municipal Tekirova beach is located on the coast in the middle of the village. The rest of the coastline is shared by several hotels. The public beach is covered in pebbles and has a Blue flag award for its cleanliness. The descent is smooth, with gradual depth rise, and the sea bottom is pebbly. The water is crystal clear and has no waves. The beach area has:
- umbrellas and sunbeds,
- rental stores with water equipment,
- showers,
- toilets,
- changing rooms,
- cafes and snack bars.
The beach has perfect conditions for young children. Long pontoons covered in plastic carpets are set up for the visitors' convenience. You can get to the deep waters on them. Diving from pontoons is prohibited. The safety is guaranteed by rescue workers and beach staff.
Tekirova Beach is a very crowded place. Many locals and tourists come here. Young visitors are attracted by a wide variety of activities:
- parasailing,
- diving,
- snorkeling,
- water skiing,
- jet skis,
- boats,
- paragliding.
Several wild beaches in beautiful stone bays are located in the outskirts of Tekirova village, and those who prefer solitude and calmness will like it there. The majority of hotel areas are covered in sand up until the descent into water.
When is it better to go
A comfortable time for a trip to the Turkish seaside resorts – is from July to September. The air temperature in this period rises to + 40 °C, the water warms up to + 30 °C. However, you need to be prepared for a huge influx of tourists.
