Lefaga Beach is located on the southwest coast of the Pacific volcanic island by the name of Upolu in Samoa. This tropical heaven was devastated and fully destroyed after the tsunami in 2009, but today its infrastructure is fully restored. You can see the landscapes of Lefaga in the American movie "Return to Paradise" starring Gary Cooper.

Beach description

This deserted beach is located in a picturesque place among tall palms. Its unique attraction is the combination of white sand and black stones. The water is clean and transparent in this part of Samoa and the descent is shallow and smooth. But due to the high amount of sharp shells and stones along the coast it's recommended to wear slippers. Lefaga is especially beautiful during sunset, when the blue sky and the turquoise ocean reflect bright orange and red shade.

Many visitors of Lefaga partake in underwater swimming, during which one can enjoy the underwater life of the Pacific Ocean and find giant clams. Kayaking is also a popular activity on the beach.
