Beach description
The beach is wide, covered with soft, golden white sand. The shallow line is long so this place is safe for children. However, high wave appears here very often, and this aspect is attractive for surfing enthusiasts. Besides surfing, there is almost nothing to do here, so children will be bored. When the waves a low, you can rent a boat or go fishing or diving in the sea.
Punta del Diablo is a fishing village where there are no luxury hotels, but there is a unique atmosphere peace and privacy. Locals' small houses are located all over the beach, they are situated in the hills like bird nests. You can rent them at the beginning or the end of the season for 20$ per double room. There are chalets and small guest houses but they are closed out of season.
You can get this place from the capital city or any other locality on Route 9. It takes 1 hour from La Paloma.
