Tanjung Aan beach

Tanjung Aan Beach is covered with soft sand, dense shrubs and boulders of bizarre shapes. Here you can safely walk barefoot without fear of thorns, glass and other dangerous objects. Also, this place is famous for the following advantages:

• green mountains – huge hills with an exotic forest surround the beach on 3 sides. You can climb them to see local beauties from a bird's eye view or lie down under the shade of trees;
• perfect water – the local sea is painted in bright blue. It is distinguished by transparency, warmth, and the absence of undercurrents. Large waves do not occur here – the local bay protects them;
• observation platforms – high-grade steps lead to some mountains. Anyone can climb these peaks, including children or senior citizens;
• perfect ecology – there are no large cities or harmful industries near the beach.

The beach has a smooth set of depth and a soft bottom. It is ideal for families with children, swimming, sunbathing and leisurely walks. Its shore and surrounding forests were chosen by picnic fans and athletes. Also, Tanjung Aan attracts divers, climbers and novice surfers.

The length of the beach exceeds 1700 meters, and its width reaches 60 meters. Due to its large size, there is free space even on weekends and holidays. At times, garbage can be found on the territory of Tanjung Aan. But in 90% of cases, the local coast remains perfectly clean.

Interesting fact: Tanjung Aan consists of 2 separate bays resembling a heart. On the eastern side of the beach are stone slabs. There gather fishermen, divers and tourists who want to relax in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

When is it better to go?

The air temperature throughout the year differs little and keeps within + 28-30 degrees. In the evening and at night, it is slightly cooler, but the thermometer rarely falls below +23 degrees. The water temperature is also stable. In order to avoid the rainy season (months from December to March), it is better to visit the country from May to August.
