Ganh Dau beach
Ganh Dau Beach is a romantic beach located on the northwest coast of Phu Quoc Island, 30 km from the island's capital, Zyong Zong. Gang Dau Beach can be reached by an asphalt road leading east from the fishing village of the same name Gang Dau.

Beach description
Gang Dau beach is a heavenly spot, covered with white sand, resembling talc or flour in texture. The beach is framed by tall palm trees and lush green trees. On the east side, the beach is protected from waves and winds by high hills, covered with greenery. The South China Sea on the Gang Dau beach is warm and calm, even in the rainy season, the water temperature rarely drops below 22 °C. The entry into the water is shallow, and the bottom is clean sandy. Usually the beach is quiet and not crowded. In glimpses of bright blue water with turquoise hue it is possible to see the Cambodian islands, which are located just a few kilometers from the coast.
Ganges Dau is a picturesque place with its own fishing fleet, beautiful nature, warm water and comfortable conditions for rest on the beach.
When is the best time to go?
Since Vietnam is a country stretching from north to south, the climate in its different parts is slightly different. In the north, high humidity and temperature are observed from May to October, but in the remaining months it is slightly drier and cooler. In the South, the rainy season is longer, lasting from may to November, but even after it ends, the humidity does not subside. Therefore, it is better to go to popular resorts in the south of the country in winter or early spring.
