Khem beach
Khem Beach, also known as "Bai Kem", "Bai Khem", "Khem Beach" or "Cream Beach" is another of Phu Quoc's white sandy beaches located south of the more popular beach Sao in the city of An Toi. The use of the beach was previously limited to a military base, but since 2014 the restriction has been lifted. According to many sources, Khem beach is one of the most beautiful on the island of Phu Quoc, but it becomes such after 11.00, when the beach is freed by fish and seafood traders: of shrimp, anchovies, sea urchins, etc.

Beach description
The sand at Khem Beach is powdery and light, white with a light beige hue, covered with algae. The South China Sea in this part of the island is calm and relatively clear with a turquoise hue and perfect transparency. The entry into the sea is sloping and shallow enough, which makes it available and comfortable for families with children.
To swim and sunbathe on the beach of Khem privately, it is better to walk north along the coastline, away from restaurants and boats. Water and sand in the far areas are much cleaner. The unusual round boats on the beach are of particular interest: they are used to sail to boats of the usual shape, located far from the coast.
When is the best time to go?
Since Vietnam is a country stretching from north to south, the climate in its different parts is slightly different. In the north, high humidity and temperature are observed from May to October, but in the remaining months it is slightly drier and cooler. In the South, the rainy season is longer, lasting from may to November, but even after it ends, the humidity does not subside. Therefore, it is better to go to popular resorts in the south of the country in winter or early spring.
