Rainbow Bay beach
Rainbow Bay Beach is located between the city of Gregory and the Rainbow Bay Governor's Airport in the village of the same name with the beach. This coast is very popular among locals, but tourists have recently begun to visit this place.

Beach description
Rainbow is a small cozy beach covered with a dense layer of soft snow white sand with golden tinctures in sun rays. The water entry is slightly sloping and shallow-watered, making this beach comfortable and safe even for small children. A few meters away from the beach, small stones occur but they can be seen even without a mask, so they cause zero discomfort. The Caribbean Sea in this part of Bahama Islands is crystal clear with the pleasant turquoise shade. Waves are calm, and winds occur very seldom. Water temperature on Rainbow is seldom lower than 25-26 °С.
There are not as much coral reefs here as on the other island beaches but diving and snorkeling fans are attracted by small rocks on the sea bottom located on the left sid of the beach. Another advantage of Rainbow is the availability of a car parking lot.
When is the best time to go?
Holidays in the Bahamas are good at any time of the year, but the busy season is in the period from mid-November to May. The Bahamas are disposed quite low in relation to sea level, so the wind blows in the winter months, but it is gentle and soberly pleasant. The air temperature is between 27-29 degrees from the end of autumn to the beginning of summer. Traveling with children, it is better to come in the autumn months, while the spring is more appropriate to go for new emotions, and peacefully enjoy the sunshine – in winter.
