Whiteland beach
Whiteland Beach is a long romantic beach, located in a remote place 6.5 km from the city of Rock Sound, in the south of the island of Eleuthera. It promises a pleasant stay, combining privacy, beautiful tropical nature and comfortable infrastructure.

Beach description
The natural feature of Whiteland Beach is its white sand covering matching the pink sand areas, and several cozy bays and natural pools with clear transparent water of turquoise tincture. From the ocean side, the beach is protected with the reef barrier creating perfect conditions for comfortable swimming throughout the day. The bottom in the coastal area in sandy that, together with the gradual descent, makes the entry safe and convenient. In some places, the beach zone is covered with tropical vegetation creating the pleasant shadow in the afternoon heat. On the other areas, the beach is surrounded with rock formations protruding deep into the sea.
Whiteland Beach has no facilities but there are several excellent hotels and restaurants nearby. During their rest on Whiteland Beach, visitors can take sun baths, swim, and engage in scuba-diving.
When is it better to go?
Holidays in the Bahamas are good at any time of the year, but the busy season is in the period from mid-November to May. The Bahamas are disposed quite low in relation to sea level, so the wind blows in the winter months, but it is gentle and soberly pleasant. The air temperature is between 27-29 degrees from the end of autumn to the beginning of summer. Traveling with children, it is better to come in the autumn months, while the spring is more appropriate to go for new emotions, and peacefully enjoy the sunshine – in winter.
