Pink Beach
Pink Beach on the south of Bonaire is about 1,5 km long. Pink Beach got its name thanks to its sand, which is pink-colored because of the shells and corals.

Beach description
After the hurricane of 1999, the colorful covering was destroyed almost completely. However, the beach managed to remain attractive. Due to the fact that the reef is so close, you can still find here the sites with fine light pink sand with the remains of corals.
Pink Beach is a perfect place for picnics and romantic dates. Its palm trees bring the salvatory shadow to visitors, and giant stones provide the privacy of our vacation. It's better to take your own food and drinks because the beach has no food trucks.
Pink Beach is suitable for swimming and for underwater survey. All diving and snorkeling conditions have been created here. Teh sea is rather calm, and the water entry is easy. Near each plato, you can see many fishes and beautiful corals, but their quantity will grow dramatically in the area of underwater washout. Barracudas usually swim here and there on the reef edges. Sometimes, even hunting batfishes can be found here.
When is it better to go
A comfortable temperature f water (+24 °C) and air (+26 ... + 32 °C) is kept on Bonaire all year. The rainy season is from November to February, so it’s better to go to other months to relax on the beaches of the island.
