Beach description
Sorobon Beach is covered with fine, white and powder-like sand, and surrounded with turquoise water of Lac Bay. Slightly sloping and even sand bottom, shallow-water and stable trade winds are perfect conditions for helding windsurfing competitions here.
The local resort provides the necessary facilities. Here, you can enjoy sea views from wooden pier ending with a cozy recreation zone. The beach visitors love the Carribbean cuisine the most: dishes from freshly caught fish, and parties with vibrant music in the beach restaurant bar.
snorkeling fans can reach the reef in the end of the bay where many kinds of tropical fish, mussels, crabs, and turtles live. Moreover, the tourists have a chance to buy the surfing equipemnt in the nearby beach store, to pass the SUP yoga or canoe rowing course.
When is it better to go
A comfortable temperature f water (+24 °C) and air (+26 ... + 32 °C) is kept on Bonaire all year. The rainy season is from November to February, so it’s better to go to other months to relax on the beaches of the island.
