Champagne beach
Champagne beach in Dominica is part of the Soufriere-Scott's Head Marine Reserve located in the southwest. Therefore, nature in this part of the island is protected and not spoilt by men, and the Caribbean in this part of the world is amazing and picturesque. Soufriere Scott's Head Marine Reserve is one of the first nature reserves on the island with the most popular volcanic underwater objects. It is these objects that contribute to the release of gases from volcanic cracks, which, like air bubbles in champagne, go to the water surface of the Caribbean Sea. This natural phenomenon gave the name to the beach.

The surface of the beach is rocky. The entry into the water is shallow, the bottom is covered with corals and stones, so aquashoes are necessary for comfortable snorkeling and swimming. Champagne beach is comfortable to relax at any time of the day, but noon is best for snorkeling. During diving and snorkeling you can meet seahorses, sea snackes, sea urchin, electric rays and reef squids. The bottom of Champagne beach, whose topography is composed of volcanic craters, boulder fields, canyons and rocks, is unusual and picturesque. The advantage of Champagne beach is that the sea in this part of Dominica is calm, and the waves and wind are rare.
When is it better to go?
The average temperature in Dominica does not go beyond 25-30 degrees all year round. From June to October, powerful tropical showers are washed down the island, so iti s better to choose a different time of the year for a trip.
