Beach description

Tukari beach is an ideal place for snorkeling for beginners. This is a dark sandy beach with cliffs from the calm aquamarine water of the Caribbean Sea with amazing coral formations, sponges and colorful fish. Golden crinoids, electric rays, Caribbean reef squids, sea snakes, sea urchins and sea turtles are some of the main inhabitants of the underwater world that can be met in Tukari Bay.

Tukari beach is quite secluded and unpopular (Champagne beach in the south of Dominica) but has the same incredible volcanic underwater bubbles. The entrance to the water is gentle and fairly shallow. The advantage of the beach is its proximity to the infrastructure of the island.

When is it better to go?

The average temperature in Dominica does not go beyond 25-30 degrees all year round. From June to October, powerful tropical showers are washed down the island, so iti s better to choose a different time of the year for a trip.
