Frenchman's Cove beach

Frenchman's Cove beach is the most beautiful beach in Jamaica. The first all-inclusive hotel of the same name was built on its coast. Frenchman's Cove is located in Portland. The beach area is a small and surrounded by shady jungle thickets, palm trees, and almonds with luxurious apartments for rent. The beach is covered with snow-white soft sand. Frenchman's Cove became quite unique due to a rare phenomenon: here the fresh river flows into the sea. Both the sea and the river are not very deep, with smooth approaches, so often families with small children rest on the beach.

Beach description

The beach infrastructure is developed: bar, restaurant, rental of water equipment. The area is well maintained and beautiful: swing soaring over the river and perfect purity. Frenchman's Cove beach is a private area, so the entrance to the beach is paid. Many celebrities who rest in Jamaica, choose Frenchman's Cove due to its not crowded and call this place a paradise on earth. The beach area is in a bay surrounded by rocks and jungle, so there are no winds and high waves on the beach. The crystal clear water has an amazing turquoise color.

When is the best time to go?

In Jamaica, the temperature is kept in the range of 20-30 degrees year-round. Rains take place in May-June and September-November. It is best to come from December to March: it is very warm at this time, and the rains will not bother you.
