Stone Town beach
Stone Town is the capital of Zanzibar, an old stone city in the Arabic style. It is noisy and there are many markets, cafes, restaurants, hotels and souvenir shops here. On the territory, there is a small beach located near the port.

The nearby port makes swimming in the ocean uncomfortable, but Stone Town is popular with divers. There is a very rich, beautiful and diverse underwater life.
The area is suitable for excursions and exploring the rich culture of Tanzania and Zanzibar. There are many interesting places in the district:
- former slave market,
- house of Freddie Mercury (Farrokh Bulsara),
- Buddhist temple.
In order to learn more about the features of the area, it is better to go on excursions organized by travel agencies. The city also has a market where you can purchase almost everything.
When is it better to go
The climate of Tanzania is monsoon, the sun is active. The best time to relax – is from July to March. The rainy season falls on April, May and November. February – is a swing of the Tanzanian summer, the air temperature reaches +38 degrees during the day, the water warms up to +30 degrees. In Zanzibar there is a difference of 6 - 10 degrees, with the constant gusts from sea.
