Camber Sands beach
Cumber Sands is the long sandy beach of Cumber village in East Sussex. It is the only sand dune system in the county.

Beach description
The wide coastline between the sea and the beautiful dunes is covered with fine light sand. Sometimes small rocks come under your feet. The entry into the water is sloping, the bottom is sandy, shallow. It is almost constantly windy. The height of the waves is average. It is especially necessary to carefully monitor children, is very dangerous to leave them in the water off-hand.
Cumber Sands is an ideal place for surfing, kitesurfing, paragliding. There is a rental of sunbeds, umbrellas, equipment for water activities. Snacks, ice cream and drinks on the beach are quite expensive. The beach is very popular, always filled with vacationers, most of which are British. There are few tourists. It is safest to swim at low tide.
It is worth to come to the neighboring town of Paradise, where it is posible to see the monuments of medieval architecture. Cumber Sands Beach can be reached by train from London from Victoria Station or by bus from Brighton and other cities of the country.
