Porthcurno beach
Portkerno is located in a bay between the cliffs that protrude into the sea, on the south coast of Cornwall County, not far from a small settlement of the same name.

Beach description
The bay and cliffs with the multi-ton swinging granite boulder Logan Rock at the top were in the top ten most beautiful bays in the world. The beach is covered with clean white sand. There is no beach infrastructure. Almost a third of Cornwall was given the status of a national park, where hunting and fishing are prohibited. The corner of untouched nature attracts the attention of many travel companies.
Access to the beach is complicated by cliffs, through which it is only possible to go on foot along a long winding path.
When is it better to go
The swimming season in the UK officially begins on May 5 and ends on September 30, but it is better to travel on British beaches in late June, when the air temperature warms up to + 25 °C. The water in the Kingdom's water area is always cold for swimming – around + 17 °C, and at best it is not higher than + 22 °C in the warmest places of the Gulf Stream flowing. Even when abnormal heat comes to the country, the seas around the islands remain cold. In September, the weather may break up, despite the calendar off-peak season.
