Gradola beach

In fact, Gradola is the name of a restaurant of Mediterranean cuisine, which puts sunbeds for its guests on its territory, on the stone terraces around. There are no more than 20 sunbeds. But owners will put them, where they are told, if suddenly the guest does not like something in the place.

First, a short stone staircase, about 40 steps long, descends to the sea, and the slope into the sea itself is a metal staircase, very shallow, so vacationers immediately dive into the depths. Here is silence, peace, delicious food. Due to the diminutiveness of the beach itself, there are not many vacationers there, basically they all gather in the area of the Azure Grotto. It is not recommended to swim here during a storm. It is possible to get to the beach on foot on the island through the Blue Grotto, by bus or taxi. This beach is suitable only for adults, since there is no other slope into the sea, except the stairs and cliffs, as there are no natural or artificial pools.

When is it better to go

In terms of climate, the period from May to October is the most favorable for visiting Italy. The air and water temperature becomes ideal for a classic beach holiday, followed by a trip to the coast of Italy. However, it is necessary to remember that a long summer with the scorching sun, warm sea and pleasant sea breeze attracts crowds of tourists.
