La Fontelina beach
La Fontelina is one of two beaches, located at the foot of the cliffs of Faraglioni. There is no bay, and buoys indicate the bathing area. Boats pass pretty close by, which is not very pleasant and very dangerous for bathers.

Beach description
The beach is rocky, the sea is deep. Already at 500 meters from the coast, the depth is at least half a kilometer, so divers chose this place. There is a staircase into the sea, but the slope is not very convenient. For this reason, the beach is suitable for adults only. Stone platforms are equipped with sunbeds and parasols.
On La Fontaine there are very attractive sites, there is no crowding, the sun shines all day, and in the evenings there are the most beautiful sunsets. The beach is private, it has been owned by two Italian families for more than half a century. They also have a restaurant of Mediterranean cuisine, so that vacationers can have a snack.
It is possible to get to La Fontelina by boat or on foot from Marina Piccolo. Since there is not much space, and there are plenty of vacationers in Capri in the high season, it should be reserved in advance on the beach.
When is it better to go
In terms of climate, the period from May to October is the most favorable for visiting Italy. The air and water temperature becomes ideal for a classic beach holiday, followed by a trip to the coast of Italy. However, it is necessary to remember that a long summer with the scorching sun, warm sea and pleasant sea breeze attracts crowds of tourists.
