Beach description
Lloret de Mar is quite long, 1630 m long and 45 m wide. This is the largest part of the city's coast, equipped for recreation by the water. The beach is located in the central part of the city, next to it there is a well-equipped promenade. Playa de Lloret de Mar coastline is covered with coarse, clean, bright yellow sand. The shore here has a slight slope, wide shallow water makes entering the water convenient and safe.
The beach is suitable for adults and children swimming, there are restrictive buoys in the water (at a distance of 200 m from the shore). It is a popular holiday destination among locals and tourists, but the large beach area allows everyone to stay in comfort.
When is it better to go
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.

Infrastructure
The beach is equipped with changing stalls, washing rooms and water closets. The sand is covered with special paths to facilitate the transport of wheelchairs. Sun lounges and parasols are available for rent. The beach has equipment for water sports and water activities. Here you can rent:

- waverunner.
There are sports grounds and playgrounds on the shore. There's a mini club for kids. Restaurants, cafes and ice cream kiosks are located on the promenade.

Attractions
A hiking trail starts at the western tip of the beach along the coast. It is equipped with viewing platforms and rest areas. On this promenade there is a monument "Donna Mаrinera", which is a "visiting card" of the city.
Other historical and cultural sites can be seen in the center of Lloret and the surrounding area. The most popular of them are:
- San Juan castle;
- The Santa Clotilde Gardens;
- Church of San Roma.
