S’Agaro beach

S’Agaro is a cozy Spanish resort known not only for its special architecture, but also for its wonderful beaches. The city is considered one of the best on the entire Costa Brava.

Beach description

S’Agaro beach is a wide area of sandy coast. The sea next to it is shallow, in summer the water is perfectly warmed up here. The water entry is comfortable and safe. There are no big waves or strong winds on the beach. The beach is a popular seaside destination for a relaxing holiday, with many couples.

The beach is equipped with everything you need to comfortably relax by the water. You can rent a sun lounger and an umbrella here, use changing stalls, showers and WCs. Next to the beach there is a seafront promenade with cafes and restaurants. It is easy to find hotels of different levels in the city near the beach.

When is it better to go

The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.

Useful information

Attractions

The famous Camino de Ronda promenade runs across the resort's coast. The path along the cliffs laid by the guards in the 19th century is now a walking zone equipped with observation platforms and places for recreation. Figueras, the birthplace of S. Dali, is not far away from here. There is a museum in the house of the artist.

How to get there

You can reach S'Agaro from Girona (about 30 km) or Barcelona (about 100 km). The beach is located at the city promenade.
