Beach description
The beach is located in a picturesque bay surrounded by green hills. Santa Cristina is a rather long (about 500 meters) strip of fine light sand . The entry into the water on the beach is flat, the bottom is sandy. Depth increase is fast. Strong waves and wind appear here quite rarely. This beach is rarely crowded. A very good place to relax both youth and couples with children.
The beach has all the conditions necessary for a good vacation. Here you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, equipment for water sports. Santa Cristina has showers and toilets. In high season, rescuers are on duty daily near the water, and a first aid station is operating. Santa Cristina is a rural beach, but the conditions for relaxation here are simply excellent.
The hotel is located right on the edge of the beach. The hotel's pool and tennis courts are in close proximity to the sand line. Two hotel restaurants are located right on the beach. There are other hotels nearby. In neighboring Lloret de Mar you can find accommodation for every taste.
When is it better to go
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.

Sights
Near the beach is the centennial landscape park of the Gardens of Saint Clotilde, a national treasure of Catalonia, as well as the Hermitage of Santa Cristina. The chapel of the same name is located directly above the bay.
July 24, Santa Cristina hosts one of the traditional events of the city’s annual festival – a bright procession carries the relics of a local saint along the coast.
How to get there
Santa Cristina is some distance from the center of Lloret de Mar, but can be reached on foot in 40 minutes. By car, this path will be overcome much faster. You can arrive at the beach by public transport (bus number 1, stop “Gardens of St. Clotilde”) or by a pleasure boat from the city port. It should be noted that parking above the beach is paid, and a rather steep descent leads to the sea.
