Sudersand beach
Sudersand is located on the tiny island of Faro, adjacent to the other, the largest island of Sweden – Gotland. This beach is considered one of the best in the country: and due to its characteristics, and thanks to the magnificent landscapes and, undoubtedly, due to its proximity to historical places. At first glance, getting there even by car is not easy, because Faro is not connected to the main island with anything but a ferry: however, the entire transportation process is so streamlined and simple that it will not cause the slightest discomfort.

Beach description
The light sandy shore near a shallow cool sea with a gentle slope will appeal to both children and adults. In some places, it turns into stones and low cliffs, which are not so convenient for a beach holiday – but from them excellent photos are obtained. It is worth considering that, unlike other places, it is quite windy here at any time of the year.
From the point of view of arrangement and external savagery, Südersand surprises tourists: there is a restaurant, a cafe, a golf club and a variety of small shops with ice cream and snacks. There are volleyball and soccer courts on the beach. The proximity of the island of Gotland is good because if you get tired of relaxing by the sea, you can always visit one of the attractions located on the island: he had a rich history that can be seen both in museums and in the open.
When is the best time to go?
Vacation on the beaches of Sweden is best in July-August, when the water in the northern Baltic Sea becomes warm enough for swimming.
