Tylösand beach
Tilesand Beach is one of those places that is sincerely loved and appreciated by both visitors and locals. Only during the summer season the number of visitors exceeds forty thousand people, and its popularity is undoubtedly justified. It is 15 minutes from Halmstad: a major Swedish city, which also has an airport. You can easily get to the beach from there either by car, or by bus or bike.

Several kilometers of light fine sand, clean cool water and recreation areas for different types of vacationers: both for noisy companies, and for single people or families with children. A shallow approach is also suitable for everyone, but in the southern part of the beach there is a stronger undercurrent than in other places. Another natural flaw of Tilesand is the strong wind. It is because of him that deck chairs and umbrellas are not sold here; however, it happens far from all days.
It was on this beach that one of the first rescue services in Sweden arose: despite the great length, all areas are viewed by rescuers, including with the help of drones. Within walking distance are hotels, restaurants and small cafes where musicians play in the evenings. The local attraction is “Hotell Tylösand”, which is owned by one of the musicians of the famous rock band Roxette.
When is the best time to go?
Vacation on the beaches of Sweden is best in July-August, when the water in the northern Baltic Sea becomes warm enough for swimming.
