Baker Beach
Baker Beach is a public municipal beach located in the northwest part of San Francisco, forming part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Stretching just over 1.5 km, it encompasses the quintessential beachfront as well as a secluded section for nudists. Named after John Henry Baker, a real estate owner along this stretch of the Pacific Coast in the mid-19th century, the beach offers breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the ocean, making it a favorite among visitors.
