It is situated on the east end of Brooklyn, in close proximity to Brighton Beach. It is the honor and gem of a district with the same name that was considered one of the top luxury New York resorts in the late 19th century. Due to its first owner, the prominent businessman Austin Corbin, the railway was laid to these places, that further transformed into subway, and luxury hotels, casinos, and even a hippodrome were built on the beach. Over time, Manhattan Beach lost its attractiveness as a resort, but it still remains a prestigious place of residence. Now, it is a place of beautiful luxury mansions, a neat park with children's playgrounds and tennis courts, elite schools, a private kindergarten and, of course, a wonderfully equipped sand beach, the favorite recreation place for New Yorkers and the city guests.
