Baie des Citrons beach

Citrus (Lemon) Bay (Baie des Citrons Beach) got its name either because of the lemon trees that once grew here, or because of a ship loaded with lemons and ran aground near Noumea, or because of the special shade of beach sand. The city stands on the shore of the French overseas Union in New Caledonia, washed by the Southern Pacific Ocean.

Beach description

On the shore of the isolated archipelago was formerly a penal colony for over-zealous revolutionaries, actively working port. Now Citron collect full house not for the meetings and ship wires.
