Kuto beach
Pin Island is famous all over the world thanks to its stunningly beautiful bays. If going by high-speed ferry Betico from Nouméa, Kuto will be the first and one of the most striking stops. In the absence of expensive restaurants and noisy merchants, visitors can fully enjoy the beauty of tropical nature and the ocean.

Beach description
This beach, like all others in New Caledonia, is covered with sand. The long shore in the shape of a crescent moon looks almost white in the sun: it's so clean and bright. The entrance to the water is gentle, without sharp changes, and since the wind isn't so frequent here, there are no large waves. While swimming in amazingly blue water, white liners and small fishing boats will float on the horizon. And the land will surprise by the variety of plants: from small palms to tall flowering trees. Nearby is a cozy local restaurant with a terrace overlooking the ocean: here people can not only have lunch, but also take away small dishes. Don't forget to bring your bedspreads, as there are no sun loungers or umbrellas available on site.
When is it better to go?
The beaches of New Caledonia are accessible all year round, but the best season to visit them is the winter season, which lasts from October to May. Warm, dry weather with a temperature of + 24-26 °C prevails on the island at this time. Rains and tropical hurricanes await holidaymakers in the low (summer) season, from November to April.
