Yejele beach

Yejele Beach, which translates to Turquoise Beach, is an idyllic sandy location on Mare Island about 20 minutes away from Tadine. Yejele Beach attracts many visitors with its grainy white sand, transparent azure water, shadowy palm trees and beautiful views. It's especially popular among cruise ship passengers that stop at Tadine. A bus drives from the city to the beach, so it's easy to get here.

Beach description

You can partake in snorkeling here on Yejele Beach, but beginners should be careful, as there are no rescue workers on the beach. Visitors can also partake in kayaking, paddle boarding, yachting, and also swim, sunbathe, take boat tours and excursions to waterfalls and limestone caves. It's recommended to wear slippers if you want to swim in the coastal area, as the sea bottom contains corals and shells. Tents with various goods are set up across the whole Yejele Beach and they offer just about everything: from local souvenirs and barbecue to cold beer and even massage.
