Beach description
Gudauta is situated in a bay that is well-protected from winds and waves. The beach line is rather long here )4 km), and also wide (100 m). The sea is clear and calm by the beach. All the village beaches are pebble but one can also find small sites covered with sand.
The additional facilities for beach recreation (deck chairs, umbrellas, changing cabins and water games) can be found on the central part of Gudauta Beach. Other beaches are wild.
Gudauta is a small village but dwelling rent is possible here. Hotels, recreation facilities and tourist hotels are open here. The settlement has a wide range of accommodation options at low prices in the private sector.
When is it better to go
The climate of Abkhazia is mild and comfortable, so tourists come to local resorts all year round. The swimming season begins in May and ends in October.
