Lidzava beach
Lidzava Beach is located in the village of the same name (locals call it Ldzaa). This is one of the most beautiful areas of Pitsunda shoreline. The sea and pines create a unique atmosphere and make it a real resort.

Beach description
The beach near the village stretches for 4 km, and its width in 30-40 m. The beach is located in the bay, so there are no high waves and wind here in the warm season.
The sea is clear and transparent. The beach is covered with sand with small impregnations of pebbles. The sea entry is convenient but the depth increases rather sharply. The site with a more smooth entry is located close to Monks Ravine.
This beach is desert even in the high season, it never has crowds. Most vacationers in Lidzava are families with kids.
No additional recreation conditions or any water games are provided on the beach. You can relax in the shadow of free palm tents, or taht of nearby trees. A restaurant is open on the beach. The village has the widest range of dwelling rent options. The most offers are represented by hotels and mini hotels standing amost on the beach.
When is it better to go
The climate of Abkhazia is mild and comfortable, so tourists come to local resorts all year round. The swimming season begins in May and ends in October.

From the beach, you can easily reach the Pitsunda relic grove and the historical and archaeological complex Pitiunt.

From Pitsunda to the beach, the distance is just over 5 km. You can overcome it by minibus or a rented car.
