Novkhany beach
Novxanı is a small village in the central part of the Absheron Peninsula, slightly north of Baku, about halfway between the country's capital and Sumqayit. The village itself is located on the shore of Lake Masazir, Novxanı is located to the north. The beach and tourist complex is located about three kilometers northeast in the very north of the peninsula.

Beach description
The beach is considered to be one of the most beautiful and attractive in all over Azerbaijan and even on the Caspian coastline. The sand on the beach is quite coarse, shell rock is often found, and a large amount of algae can occasionally be found in sea water. The color of the sand changes from dark white to golden red.
The beach is very popular among residents of two large cities in the neighborhood. Therefore, there are a large number of paid checkpoints with a various set of marine entertainment. But there are numerous public beaches nearby, that are also regularly cleaned - not only on land but also in the sea nearby.
The sea bottom also consists of coarse sand. The depth increases gradually, even at a distance of a hundred meters an adult can get to the bottom with his feet. The beach has a full range of water activities, there is also a large water park.
When is the best time to go?
The most favorable time for a trip to Azerbaijan is May-June, when the temperature on the beaches has a comfortable rest. If you can withstand high temperatures when the thermometer does not drop below 30 degrees, then July and August are also suitable for a trip.
