Best beaches in Baku

Mardakan is a coastal strip of sandy beaches, located in the resort village of the same name just 40 km from Baku, on the northern outskirts of the Absheron Peninsula. In terms of cleanliness of sand and sea waters, this coast is considered to be one of the best in the vicinity of the capital, and it is also the most visited, because of the proximity to the captital and well-developed infrastructure. Zagulba is a small village in the north-east of the Absheron Peninsula, about seventy kilometers from the capital of the country. The city is famous for its beach complexes, as well as a range of marine services. First of all, there are moorings for numerous yachts. There are a lot of hotels and variety.

Nardaran is a small urban-type settlement with a population of about 10 thousand people. It is built as a tourist area only, located in the north-east of Baku between two resort areas - Novkhany and Zagulba. The large mosque of Haji Bakhshi, as well as the old Nardaran Fortress stands out from the attractions in the village . Moreover, tourists buy the famous carpets of local production.
