Beach description
The beach near Zagulba is notable for its beauty and cleanliness. It is about a couple of kilometers long and about thirty meters wide. It consists of small shingle with a small amount of sand. The colour of the stones is varied, but the prevailing one is light gray; shades range from pale yellow to dead red.
The sea near the beach is shallow in most places, which is why three projecting breakwaters are built for yachts. The bottom is also composed primarily of stones - both large and approximately similar to the beach shingle. Thanks to this, algae and plankton are practically absent in the water, and the bottom is visible at a depth of three to four meters.
When is the best time to go?
The most favorable time for a trip to Azerbaijan is May-June, when the temperature on the beaches has a comfortable rest. If you can withstand high temperatures when the thermometer does not drop below 30 degrees, then July and August are also suitable for a trip.
