Mliha beach
Mliha is a sandy beach located in the west coast of Mayotte Island. It is adjacent to dense forests, a large village and a well-equipped football field. The facilities near the beach include:

Beach description
7 km southeast of the beach is a large city (M'Tsangamouji). There is a bank, pharmacy, grocery market, car repair, and maintenance service. Nightclubs and bustling bars are absent, which is not surprising for the Muslim region.
Mliha beach has a smooth depth difference, soft bottom, and clean area. It is famous for fresh wind and good waves. Its shores offer beautiful views of the Indian Ocean, surrounding beaches and dense forests of Africa.
The main contingent of Mliha - married couples with children, surfers, and introverts. Among tourists, the French and Americans are prevail. The local crime rate is extremely low: don't leave your stuff unattended, and nothing bad will happen to you. As for popularity, the beach never fills up completely. Here you can enjoy the silence and be alone with nature.
You can get to Mliha by bus, taxi or rented boat.
When is the best time to go?
Mayotte is located in the southern hemisphere, since the climatic winter coincides there with the calendar summer, so the best time to visit the island is from September to November and from April to May, when a comfortable temperature is set.
