Sohoa beach
Sohoa is a large sandy beach. A tropical forest grows along the entire line of the coast, which saves from the heat and saturates the air with spicy scents. Sohoa is not very crowded, however, the infrastructure is well developed: there are picnic arbours and comfortable benches on its territory, and there is restaurant, cafe, mini-market and a football field nearby.

Beach description
The beach is covered with snow-white and black-gray sand, its waters are shallow. There are good waves, refreshing winds, and cloudless weather. At low tides, small islands form in the middle of the ocean.
Sohoa is a perfect place for a quiet and calm vacation. Its guests enjoy bird singing, stroll through scenic parks and picturesque villages, sunbathe and swim in the ocean. The local tourist season lasts from early May to mid October.
Sohoa is located on the west coast of Mayotte, 750 meters north of the village of Soha. You can get here by rented boat, municipal bus or minibus.
When is the best time to go?
Mayotte is located in the southern hemisphere, since the climatic winter coincides there with the calendar summer, so the best time to visit the island is from September to November and from April to May, when a comfortable temperature is set.
